Thanks Stephen. Since I have recently joined the ranks of the unemployed after over 16 years in the graphics business, my goal for 2014 is to get back to working for myself. My creative muscles have weakened over the years since my job was working for a newspaper here in Chicago. Over the years more and more creative work was outsourced to the point that my job basically was more of a monitor’s job. Making sure ads were ready for deadline. I need to sharpen my skills again, and at my age 59, I need my confidence back. There’s a lot of competition with younger, creative people that do everything including websites. I just want to get my graphic design muscles back so I can be ready for anything clients will need. My goals are to start working on projects that I have strayed away from over the years and get back into design. I find you videos to be an excellent starting point. Keep them coming!

    • Jerry, I am glad to help motivate you to get back on track this year. I would suggest focus really hard on selling 1 service like logo designs and then that will branch you into other things that people ask for.
