Adobe Illustrator Creative Cloud – Rounding Corners – Episode #23

Welcome to episode #23 of my new Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 tips series where I will be doing all types of in-depth teachings about the program. In this video I will be showing you the rounding corners feature and how recent Adobe updates have allowed you to do this much easier. I will show you how to select specific points to create some really cool shapes that you can then use in your designs.

Check out the video below and make sure you select HD format. Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel on YouTube.

  1. Hi Stephen. I have a quick question about flyers. I’m designing for the typical 4″ by 9″ two sided flyer that you find in visitor centers. I’ve set up my template so that it’s exactly 4 inches in width and 9 inches in length, with a 1.25 bleed margin. However, when I print and cut that, it doesn’t quite look right. My question is how do I set up a margin for the “safe zone” in addition to the bleed zone? I’m not sure how to size my template if when including bleed?

  2. Hi, Stephen.
Big thanks for this lesson. Only one thing: I don’t see markers near edge of any shape. May be it need to be enabled in settings (I use Illustrator CC for PC).
